We are looking for a (Senior) Software Designer to join our R&D Software team in Jyväskylä or Vantaa. You may be at the start of your career journey or already an experienced professional.

About the team 
You will be joining a small team that discovers and develops SaaS applications for the smart metering market. The solutions this team works on are at an early stage which means you will get to pioneer products from ideas into reality.  

About the role
Your main responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining our leading smart metering software products and solutions. You will have the opportunity to learn and apply the latest software technologies in your daily work. You will also challenge our ways of working and help us continuously improve our products. The role is backend-focused, but an interest in full-stack development is regarded as an advantage.

Our tech stack includes Java, Go, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Dapr, GraphQL, gRPC, PostgreSQL, MongoDB Atlas, and Google Cloud Platform.  

To succeed in this role, you will need 
•    A solid understanding of Java
•    Knowledge of microservices and modern web application development
•    Good communication skills in English
•    A self-organized working style and the ability to work autonomously
