Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Overall Objective
- The Manufacturing Quality Engineer (MQE) is supporting the product / process quality driven by Quality principles to ensure that high quality product is supplied into SC.
- Through production quality issues management, production overview and auditing, the MQE assures that product & process quality is maintained at the required level.
Key Performance Indicators
Successful resolution of production related issues in terms of Quality and time.
Key Areas of Responsiblity
- Support production and engineering dpts to ensure prompt identification and resolution of quality issues arising in production process.
- Monitor the performance of the production lines and arrange corrective actions to improve it.
- Drive customer complaints and assure the implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
- Conduct frequent reviews on resolution progress to assure that all tasks are closed out on time.
- Escalate any issues that could potentially introduce delays in resolution or result in non-predictable costs that could have subsequent impact in the smooth running of SC.
- Support team members with all quality tools needed.
- Support Internal auditor(s) in follow-up of NCs deriving from internal auditing and closure of all actions.
Required Skills
- University degree in Engineering.
- Fluency in English language.
- Very good knowledge of computer use.
- Experienced in root cause analysis, problem solving techniques, implementing preventative and corrective actions.
- Experience developing and employing Quality standards and best practices.
- Experience working within multicultural groups and methodologies internationally.
- Quality mindset.
- Agile and self-motivated.
- Team player.
- Process oriented approach in daily work.
- Previous experience in a Quality role is desired.
